Our Process

Step 1: Pre-Construction Meeting

This is where you will be able to introduce your objectives and goals for your home. This is a good opportunity to express what you want in your floorplan, design and finishes. We will begin drafting a plan that is custom to you and your home design.

Step 2: Plan Review

Now we review the drafted floorplan and go over the layout and specifications. Together we will formulate your wants and needs while ensuring that structural requirements and code specifications are met. Once plans are adjusted and finalized we are ready to get the permit process started.

Step 3: Interior Planning and Design

This meeting will take place at our partnered design center where you will be able to compare materials and colors to find your perfect custom design palette. Although making selections is considered the fun part of building we understand that it can be overwhelming as well which is why you will have an interior designer and our project coordinator to make it as seamless as possible.

Step 4: Construction

Once plans are complete and finalized, we submit for permits and get started on excavation and construction. Throughout the construction stage there will also be electrical walk through where you will be walking through the placements of your outlets, cable jacks, lighting

layout etc. This is also a fun chance to see the progress stage of your home!

Step 5: New Home Orientation & Move-In

A new home orientation is conducted before your closing date, where maintenance and functionality is discussed and any remaining items are taken care of. Then you're off to close on your beautiful Castle Gate Construction home.
